If you’re interior lover like I am, then you probably already noticed that Instagram is filled with pictures featuring velvet couch and the most perfect homes. I remember my grandparents having one and I always hated it! Yes, you read it right! I thought it’s so old fashioned and how I would love to throw it on the dumpster! Now imagine when I told my mom what my newest furniture crush is and how I browsed through interior design marketplaces, Pinterest and Tumblr for some inspo.
My favorites are blush pink and dark green ones, but “luckily” we finished decorating our apartment, since that couch would give le Hubz a lot of headaches.
Would you choose a velvet couch?
Ako ste ljubitelji dekoracije prostora, onda ste sigurno primjetili novi trend na instagramu, a to slike sa plisanim kaucima i savrseno dekorisanim domovima. Sjecam se da su moji deda i baka imali jedan i ja sam ga mrzila! Da, dobro ste procitali! Mislila sam da je tako staromodan i da bih ga rado bacila na smetljiste. Eh sad zamislite iznenadjenje moje mame kad sam rekla da danima gledam stranice koje prodaju namjestaj, Pinterest i Tumblr u potrazi za inspiracijom.
Moji favoriti su rozi i zeleni, ali “srecom” zavrsili smo sa uredjenjem stana, jer bi ovakav kauc mojoj jacoj polovini zadao glavobolje.

Not a huge fan of velvet but loving these color schemes!
I think velvet is a timeless fabric. It’s great for clothing or furniture. The deep blue velvet is absolutely gorgeous!
I love velvet fabrics, but I’d be a bit wary about purchasing a furniture piece of that fabric if I had pets that shed often.
Love these couches but I don’t know how well they’d hold up in my messy house!
